Last week we stated that the story of the biblical narrative doesn’t start in Genesis 3. The story does not start with how terrible a person you are. In fact, the Bible deals with sin very differently. Sin is not a part of us. It is an infection. It is an alien infection that doesn’t belong and must be dealt with, but it is not a part of who we are. So how do we get rid of this otherness that we carry around? How do we cast off our sins sot that we can move forward?
